6 Bolt Crank

Wiring Mess

Still can only work a couple hours a days. So it took awhile to get the wiring done. I finished the CAS re-wire, then moved onto hooking up all the new sensors. I didn't want to use the old wires, just in case I wanted to switch back to the MAF set-up, or put the engine back to stock.

 Done with the CAS.

The beginning of hooking up the new sensor wires. Can tell it was a hot day with the sweat marks on the papers. Printed out the 2G ECU pin out, plus direction on all the wire hook-ups. Was pretty easy, but took my time and did it right. Crimp all the wires with shrink tubing.

I had to take apart almost the whole radio compartment to get the AEM EMS in place. Had to un-hook the vents and radio. Here are some pics after the install.

Looking where the radio should go.

Serial cable for the AEM EMS.

Almost done. Just have three wires going off to the left. The brown wire goes to the solenoid for the door popper. Red wire is the power for the boost controller and wideband. The yellow is the ignition on for the door popper control box. Makes sure your door doesn't open while running. The box hanging down is the turbo timer. It will clean up pretty easy.

New sensor wiring in the engine compartment. Still need to cover the power wires on the right, which are the fuel pump re-wire, and the door popper power.
