Kobalt 60 Gallon 3.5HP Stand Up Stationary Air Compressor

Had this compressor for about 7-8 years, and lightly used it. It is in great condition. For the last 4 years, I have barely used it all. I used to work on cars, and used it to run auto tool, like wrenches and sanders. It is very powerful, and ran all my tools with no problems at all. It runs off of 220V-240V, so you will need to have 240V, or wire in a new connection. It uses about 15amps, and will need a 30amp breaker. If you do the math, that is 240V * 15A, which is 3,600W. That is some power.

This older Kobalt compressor is better than the newer one. First, it has intercooler on the line from the pump to the tank to cool down the air and reduce condensation (see pics). The newer one doesn't have this. The newer one is 3.7HP, while this one is 3.5HP. But don't let that fool you, as older one flows more air. Here are the flow rates.

my Compressor (K7060HFV)

13.3 SCFM @ 90 PSI

15.0 SCFM @ 40 PSI

New Kobalt Compressor (VT6362)

11.5 SCFM @ 90 PSI (-13.5%)

13.4 SCFM @ 40 PSI (-10.7%)

Even though it has 0.2 more HP, the flow rates are less then my model, by over 10%. So mine flows better and has an intercooler, for cooler air and less condensation. It seems like Kobalt is doing the "Intel" CPU trick, by saying the core clock is faster, but overall performance is slower. I guess they don't build them like they used too.

I will even include a line valve, line air filter, and an air pressure regulator (see pics). All that cost about $60 or more. Will also include the power cord that I am using, if you want it. The price is $300 for this lightly used air compressor in great shape. These go for $500 new. That is 40% off. Because of that, the price is firm, so please no hagglers or low ballers. I even still have the instruction manual.
