The car is a 97 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. When I bought it, it had a 6Bolt swap. I plan to make the car into a custom car. The car has a wide body kit professionally installed, using top of the line body filler. Then the car was turned into a Mitsubishi Eclipse, with the tail lights rewired. An OEM 2GB Mits Eclipse front bumper with an aftermarket lip is used for the front. The rear bumper was an Extreme Dimensions aftermarket bumper for an Eclipse. You can tell from the pictures; a lot of work was done to the back of the car to make it flow right. To do this, a lot of custom work was needed, and no expense was spared to make it look right. The door handles where shaved, and door poppers where installed. Some work is still left on the wiring hook up of the door poppers. Brackets where made for the exterior pieces by the bottom of the doors to give it support. The body kit didn’t have these and where made so if someone accidently stepped on it, it would not break. The paint was professionally done, and paint was sanded and buffed to get the orange peel out. The paint was top of the line DuPont paint. The hood is fiberglass. There is some waviness to it, as it is impossible to get it out fully with fiberglass. The car looks amazing and is very unique and custom, which I was trying to go for. I wanted a car that looked like nothing else on the road.

Whats left to do on the car is to have it put back together, get an engine, fuel pump and hanger, fuel injectors, and a front windshield. Currently the car is a shell. I have all the parts for the car, excepts for the engine and front windshield. It comes with a recently rebuilt 5-speed transmission (21k miles since rebuild). Also the transfer case, axels (front & rear), radiator, power steering, AC, GM alternator (Mits Alt sucks and break often and expensive). I have all the glass, except for the front windshield which was cracked anyways. All the interior pieces are included, which are the original pieces that came with the care. These are the grey color. I also have a separate black dash, but it is in OK shape. The car also has the original grey dash installed. The car has aftermarket 2GB headlights set and one used OEM headlight. There are brand new back up lights and fog lights with brackets for the car. OEM Eclipse rear lights that are wired for a Talon are included. The center section is painted black. The fuel door was built up to make it flush with the wide body kit and painted black. Also, the fuel door mechanism was altered to make it work with the wide body. To complete the custom car look, the interior will have to be redone.

This car has THOUSANDS of dollars worth of auto body, paint, and custom work done to it. It is truly a custom car. A shop will charge about $5,000 to $6,000 to have the car put back together. A 4G63 long block can range from $1,000 for a used stock engine to $10,000 for a 1,000 HP monster. So for about $12,000 you could have a custom car for cheap. If you did this car yourself, it would have cost $25,000 or more, and that is not including any performance modifications.
